Mark Christopher

Mark is President of Blackpeak Americas and heads the firm’s New York office. He has extensive experience overseeing complex due diligence and investigative research assignments, with particular expertise in working with financial services clients. Over the course of his career he has overseen several hundred projects in more than 25 countries.

Before coming to Blackpeak, Mark worked for nearly a decade at The Arkin Group, a boutique international corporate intelligence provider based in New York. Prior to that he spent two years researching and writing on China natural resource and commodity issues at the Council on Foreign Relations. He also worked previously at the US-China Business Council and the US Congressional-Executive Commission on China.

Mark holds a master’s degree from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. He has studied at Peking University, Nanjing University and Taiwan’s National Chengchi University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle, the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, and is a Fellow with the Truman National Security Project. Mark is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
